Ultrasound driving power converts municipal electric power into high frequency and high voltage AC, and transmits it to the ultrasonic sensor. Ultrasound sensor is actually equivalent to an energy conversion device, which can convert the input electric energy into mechanical energy, that is, ultrasound. Its performance is the longitudinal reciprocating motion of the sensor. The frequency of the telescopic motion is equal to the frequency of the high frequency AC current supplied by the driving power supply. The function of the horn is to fix the whole ultrasonic vibration system and amplify the output amplitude of the sensor. On the one hand, the tool (tool head) further amplifies the amplitude, focusing on ultrasound. On the other hand, the output of ultrasonic wave, using cutting edges similar to cutting tools, concentrates the ultrasonic energy on the cutting part of the material being cut. Under the action of enormous ultrasonic energy, this part instantaneously softens and melts, and its strength decreases greatly. At this time, as long as a very small cutting force is applied, the purpose of cutting materials can be achieved.

Ultrasound cutter is a cutter which loads the ultrasonic energy directly on the cutter. It is a cutter with ultrasonic wave. When cutting materials, materials are softened and melted mainly by ultrasonic wave. The cutting edge of the tool only plays the role of seam location, ultrasonic energy output and material separation. This cutting method is suitable for cutting materials of rough, thick and long chopping boards which are not easy to set up. The basic structure of the ultrasonic anvil cutter is similar to that of the ultrasonic cutter, but the output part of the ultrasonic is not the cutter, but the standard ultrasonic plane die. Here, the die is equivalent to an anvil. It's just an anvil for ultrasonic vibration. The cutter still has traditional and any shape, but it reduces the requirement of sharp edges and greatly prolongs the service life of the cutter.
In many cases, due to the role of ultrasound, the traditional cutting blade also allows great changes. Usually, the cutter is converted into a cylindrical wheel with a raised pattern, commonly known as a flower wheel.
